I’ve found the best way to create one of a kind sessions is by paying attention to the details. The smallest things can add special touches that make your portraits stand out. In this session, we utilized florals to add interest and feminine accents.

Adding in Details with Florals

We began this session with a casual look. My client selected a favorite pair of distressed jeans that she left unbutton to accommodate her baby bump. She paired them with a white tank for a bare belly look. Professional hair and makeup by my team added a polished look to these portraits. We captured poses in this outfit and added in a bundle of delicate white flowers for some fun interest.

Floral Patterns in Your Maternity Dress Choices

Another way to incorporate florals in your maternity session is through your dress choice! For our second look, we selected a soft and flowing full length dress. This dress had small flowers repeated all over it. The combination of the floral pattern and stitched ruffle details was very feminine and soft.

Ending with a Classic Look

At the end of our session, we decided to go a completely different direction. We selected a sleek, fitted, black dress. This timeless look was so classy and different from the other looks during out session. By selecting these three looks, we were able to have a fantastic variety in this beautiful client’s maternity gallery.
